Chelsea shared some of her favourite CNY family traditions
- Decorating the house is a family affair with everyone helping to display the traditional Chinese New Year symbols and decorations incorporating red lanterns, couplets and paper cutouts, symbolizing luck and prosperity. Her young daughter loves this part too!
- Chelsea always visits local markets like Pottinger Street to find authentic decorations supporting local artisans and adding cultural authenticity to the ambience.
- Food plays a significant role in Chinese New Year celebrations, and she loves to make dumplings as a family activity, along with other traditional dishes like fish and nian ga.
