Living in Tsim Sha Tsui
A modern, urban district of Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui is perched on the opposite side of Victoria Harbour from Hong Kong Island’s Central district. TST, as it’s commonly known, is a dense mix of old and new residential and commercial, alongside some of Hong Kong’s most popular five-star hotels.
Transport: How To get to Tsim Sha Tsui
Served by the iconic and historic Star Ferry, which whisks passengers to the heart of Central and nearby Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island in about 10 minutes. Buses, mini-buses and taxis abound and TST has its own super-efficient MTR station – a 13-minute train ride to Central station.

A harbourfront promenade from the Star Ferry terminal takes in the Hong Kong Science Museum, the Hong Kong Space Museum, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the new Museum of Modern Art. Further along the harbourfront is the new K11 Mall and the Rosewood Hotel, both luxurious, must-experience lifestyle destinations.
